For the reservoir, I made three layer of plastic on top of each other. The middle layer has channels routed into it that allow water to flow from the bottom cooler to the reservoir, without any tubing.

The channel on the side of the bottom cooler has a fitting on the bottom that is connected to the output of the main pump. The channel itself provides a path for water to flow up to the top cooler. I made it like this so it would give an idea of the two water flows opposing each other. One side flows up, and the other side falls down. Making the channel part of the bottom cooler also made it easier to machine and easier to hook up to the top cooler.

For the top cooler, I used three parts from Project Rainfall. The mid-plate and the two 1/2in side panels were modified to meet new dimensions and re-used. At this point I had no idea how I wanted to actually style the top cooler to match the rest of the computer.

The top cooler is known as a swamp cooler, with the exception that it is inverted. Usually, there is a grid of vertical plastic pipes with several small holes drilled into the top that allow water to saturate towels wrapped around the pipe. Air would then be blown over these towels which would act as a large open-faced radiator.
